Secondary Education
In addition to core classes, students interested in pursuing college-level academics have the opportunity to take AP courses, as well as dual-credit classes. Beyond rigorous academics, student life is a vital part of the SJCS high school experience. Students may participate in athletics, fine arts and other clubs. Students will enjoy typical high school events, such as homecoming, pep rallies, spirit weeks and prom. To encourage their walk with the Lord, all students have a Bible class every year, participate in small discipleship groups and attend weekly chapel services. Students are also required to fulfill service hours to graduate, giving them unique learning experiences while encouraging a heart toward service.
SJCS recognizes that each student brings different gifts and individual needs to our campus. We strive to provide a well-rounded program, giving students many ways to be involved. We encourage students to grow academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually during their time at SJCS. Faculty and staff are here to foster their success through academic support, discipleship, mentoring and prayer. We hope to see every SJCS student fulfill our vision of impacting their world for Christ someday!
