The theme for this year’s Missions Week is From Sea to Shining Sea, to tie into our school-wide theme, Let Freedom Ring, celebrating America’s 250th birthday and our freedom in Christ.

Pre-Missions Week activities included a call to prayer, fasting, and repentance to prepare hearts to deepen their relationship with Christ in order to be able to take a stand for God’s truth to make a difference in this generation.

Classroom discussions ranged from generating ideas for personal consecration to activities such as prayer walks around the school. Chapel messages each day from Campus Chaplain Andrew McDonald focused on the Missions Week theme verse, Isaiah 42:10-12, and the secondary chapel band led worship daily.

Mission Week offerings collected will provide Bibles for prisoners, assistance to ministries to First Nations Peoples, and support for local ministries.  Funds were raised through many fun activities – traditional Missions Week hotdog sales, elementary read-a-thon, and the annual staff versus student dodgeball game!
