Before and After Care
St. Joseph Christian School offers a before/aftercare program in a safe setting supervised by caring, Christian staff. Before/aftercare is available to students in pre-k3 through grade 6. Students enrolled in the program receive help with homework and enjoy games, crafts, activities and free play time with friends. The SJCS before/aftercare program extends the school day for our students so they can continue to grow academically, socially and spiritually in a Christian environment.
The hours for the before/aftercare program are:
Before School Care
6:45-7:40 a.m.
After School Care
3:00-5:30 p.m.
After School Care, Early Dismissal Days:
11:50 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Exceptions:
After school care is not available when an early dismissal is called due to inclement weather, on Grandparents’ Day, on the last day before Christmas Break, and the last day of school.
Space is limited in the care program, so parents who would like to use the program sign a contract to enroll their student and reserve the space. When a family needs emergency or occasional care before or after school for students who are not enrolled in before or aftercare, parents may contact the office to determine whether space is available for the day requested.
