Theme 2022-23: Shine On

Our theme for this year is Shine On! Celebrating 35 Years of Educating for Eternity.”  This is based on Matthew 5:16 (ESV), “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”  We’ll have more to share with you about this later, but our goal will be to “shine on” at SJCS in order to bring glory to God. To begin, it may be helpful to recall a few biblical principles which have served us well over the last 35 years, and have been foundational in forming us together as a school family:

Let the children come to me and don’t hinder them.

Matthew 19:14 ESV

The scripture given to Mr. Joe Gregory at the inception of St Joseph Christian School.

Wise planning will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe.

Proverbs 2:11 NLT

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.

Psalm 20:7 ESV

Scriptures we have applied in safety planning for many years.

Be willing to help and care for each other because of Christ. By doing this, you honor Christ.

Eph. 5:21 NLV

What a great scripture for Christians to live by in today’s world!
